Landon Cassill brings smiles to patients at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital
The driver of the No. 34 Love's Ford Landon Cassill visited the Windy City this week to help spread cheer to kids at Lurie Children's and spread awareness for Love's Children's Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising campaign happening through Sept. 30.
You couldn't miss Cassill touring the halls of Lurie Children's in his bright yellow Love's fire suit. He saw firsthand the quality facilities and equipment Lurie Children's provides for its patients and families.
Our friend Emily (pictured below) is a huge NASCAR fan and eagerly waited for Cassill's arrival. She asked Cassill wonderful questions and even colored a racecar for him to take home.
During crafts and Little Tikes races, Cassill was soon joined by therapy dog Rocky. The kids being treated at Lurie Children's loved all of the surprises.
Facebook Live gave Cassill a chance to share the experience with his fans across the globe. Check out the video below.
Cassill said it best in the video. Stop by any Love's location through Sept. 30 to help make miracles happen for kids at CMN Hospitals nationwide by purchasing a Miracle Ballon for $1, $5 or $20.
