Love's Shows Its Support for Veterans through Operation Homefront

At the Love's Family of Companies, the season of giving is a year-round term. Love's supports many worthy causes, and among them is Operation Homefront.

Every year, wounded military veterans and their families struggle with critical financial issues, such as affording utility bills, housing payments, home repairs and food. Surgeries, car troubles and other emergency finances add even more stress to an already challenging situation. Most of us tend to forget about these costs when it comes to day-to-day expenses. Operation Homefront's mission is to build strong, stable and secure military families who can thrive in the communities they've worked hard to protect.

Love's has been a supporter of Operation Homefront's initiatives for six years. During that time, we provided donations and volunteers for events, such as Holiday Meals for the Military and Back to School Brigade. Our donations this year helped 35 deserving wounded veterans and their families in Oklahoma address some of costs listed above.

"Love's is extremely grateful to the men and women who have given so much to defend our freedoms," said LaDonna Horton, Love's manager of community relations. "We're proud to give back by supporting this worthwhile organization and its efforts."

There are many ways for anyone to get involved in this meaningful cause during the holiday season. Operation Homefront relies on volunteers to provide aid throughout the year.
