This month, Bryant was awarded the Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition by the DeFuniak Springs Chamber of Commerce during a military and veterans' appreciation breakfast. She was recognized for her outstanding and invaluable service to the community.
"It's an honor to be recognized by the Chamber and our DeFuniak Springs community as a veteran," Bryant said. "I'm also humbled by the appreciation Love's has given me for receiving this award."

Bryant's father served in the Army in the 1960s, which was a big factor to her joining the military. In 1994, Bryant attended the Army's basic training at Fort Jackson. From there, she was stationed at Fort Hood before going to Korea for two years. She eventually met and married another soldier. Her husband is still active duty, and his career bought them to Florida where Bryant found her career with Love's Hospitality.
If Bryant's tenure with the Army isn't impressive enough, she also volunteers at local events during the holidays to feed the homeless and is active in her local church. In addition, Bryant proudly represents Sleep Inn & Suites DeFuniak Springs - Crestview for Chamber meetings and events.
From the Chamber's military appreciation breakfast to Veterans Day, Bryant is consistently reminded of the sacrifice all military service members make for the U.S.
"I am very appreciative of military vets and the fact they gave up part of their lives, even their whole lives, all to serve our country and keep others safe," Bryant said.
Love's is proud to employ an amazing individual like Bryant. We are even more grateful for the service she gave to our nation. Thank you to each veteran for everything you sacrificed for this country.
