Talladega race weekend a wild one for Cassill, Front Row
Landon Cassill, the No. 34 Love's Ford Fusion driver, brought smiles to NASCAR fans all weekend long. From planned meet-and-greets to surprise store visits, Cassill made quite the impression on Love's Customers.
And we have the photos to prove it!
Sunday's race was a crazy one. Cassill avoided the wrecks, but experienced transmission troubles late in the race.
"We had a great Love's Travel Stops Ford," Cassill said. "We ran well today, hung out in the back for most of the race and avoided the wrecks -- didn't have a scratch on the car. Then when it got time to be aggressive late in the race, we made our way toward the front, only to lose the transmission on a restart. It was looking like we could've had a top-10 or top-15 finish, so obviously to have something go wrong mechanically was really disappointing. I'm proud of the effort, though."
You'll see Cassill back in the No. 34 Love's Ford June 4 at Dover International Speedway!
