Photos: Safe drivers with Gemini rewarded with bonuses
Love's corporate office employees joined Love's Executive Chairman and Founder Tom Love and Vice President of Transportation Brent Bergevin to recognize four Oklahoma City Gemini Motor Transport drivers receiving their fifth safe driver credit bonuses. Recipients were presented their ceremonial check and certificate. Love also congratulated the group and took pictures with the drivers.
"It's priceless to have a member of the Love family coming to this ceremony to support our drivers," said Bergevin. "For Tom to come and put this on his schedule shows what he thinks of this program and the value of our drivers to Love's."
The four drivers are part of the 78-member 2016 class of Gemini Safe Driver Credits recipients. Safety credits are awarded to drivers annually. To earn one safety credit, drivers must have no accidents, tickets or fuel-related incidents over one year. They must also pass all inspections from the U.S. Department of Transportation and Gemini. Once drivers collect five safety credits, they're eligible to receive the bonus. Gemini awarded more than $1.8 million in bonus payouts this year.
For the past several weeks Jeremy Gravely, Director of Operations East, and Ruben Venegas, Director of Operations West, traveled the country to present awards to the 78 drivers.
Congratulations to the recipients! Keep up the great and safe work!
