Cassill to make Kentucky store appearance before Quaker State 400

Landon Cassill looks to capitalize on the momentum of a top-20 finish at Daytona and have some fun while doing it at this weekend's Quaker State 400 in Sparta, Kentucky.

The driver of the No. 34 Love's Ford Fusion will first be joined by the Monster Energy Girls at Love's 383 Friday afternoon in Sparta. Cassill will take photos and sign autographs from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. ET.

Meeting Landon would also be a great opportunity to ask him about his 19th place finish at the Coke Zero 400 Saturday night.

"We got ourselves close to the front near the end, were in the top 10 at the white flag, and then just wound up in the wrong lane for that last lap. I'm proud of the effort, and we'll take a top-20," he said.

This week's race car design will pay homage to NBA MVP Russell Westbrook, who plays for the Thunder in Oklahoma City, where Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is headquartered. Fans will notice #0urMVP on Cassill's vehicle.

Race time is set for 7:30 p.m. ET Saturday and will be broadcast on NBCSN.
