Fuel the Love event a chance to show some love to store employees

We believe in showing gratitude. As we approach Valentine's Day, employees in our corporate offices in Oklahoma City showed theirs to Love's employees at more than 410 stores nationwide by signing Valentine's Day cards of appreciation.

It's something we do each year called "Fuel the Love."

"Just came out here to join my fellow corporate team members in thanking the stores. They're our No. 1 difference makers, and we just want to let them know that," said Tim Doty, who works as Love's assistant general counsel of operations.

Each year, these cards are proudly displayed in Love's stores, sometimes for several months.

Some corporate employees come to the Fuel the Love event with a plan for signing cards. Construction Clerk Micah Young brought a list of names of the people she works with each day so she could be sure to show them special appreciation.

"I brought the list of my daily contact stores, so I could get everybody who I visit with every day," she said. "We love you, and if it wasn't for you guys, we wouldn't be here!"

Tiffiany Potter from accounts payable understands the meaning these cards have for our store teams.

"It's really important that they know how much we appreciate the work that they do. If it wasn't for them, there wouldn't be an us," Potter said.
