"Best job I've ever had" raves Gemini Motor Transport driver

Charles Jagneaux has spent the last 44 years behind the wheel making deliveries. On Friday, Oct. 28, 2016, he will clock in for the final time and make his last delivery.

The Gemini Motor Transport lead driver started in 1973 when his then neighbor approached him about a new training program in town.

"He asked me if I wanted to drive for a company training new drivers. He talked me into going, and here we are," said Jagneaux.

Jagneaux drove for several companies before joining Gemini in 2014.

"Mark Moore (Gemini regional manager) called me and said 'Love's is opening a store in Duson (Louisiana), and we need a driver,'" said Jagneaux. "I was hesitant, so I told him I'd take a few days to think about it, but he needed an answer right away. He talked me into it, and I'm glad he did."

For almost three years, Jagneaux has delivered loads to Love's 523 in Duson and other Love's locations in Louisiana.

"This is the best job I've ever had," said Jagneaux. "These are great people to work for. They take great care of me, and I get to be home every night with my family. I couldn't ask for a better company."

Replacing Jagneaux's dedication and strong ethic isn't going to be an easy task.

"He has positively impacted the region by setting the standard of what a driver should be," said Manny Gamarra, Gemini regional manager. "He has done everything, from following company policies and procedures to training new drivers. He is an exceptional lead driver."
