Chris Buescher to meet NASCAR fans on Saturday in Weatherford, Texas

Race fans making their way to the Lone Star State can meet rookie Sprint Cup Series driver Chris Buescher this weekend!

The driver of the No. 34 Love's Ford Fusion will be making a race weekend appearance 4-5 p.m. CT on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at Love's 273 in Weatherford, Texas, on Interstate 20, Exit 410. Buescher is racing in the AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway the next day. Watch the race on Sunday Nov. 6, starting at 1 p.m. CT on NBC.

Texas is always homecoming for Buescher.

"We always have a little extra pressure at the home track to run well," Buescher said. "It's my home track as well as Love's Travel Stops' home track with them being up the road in Oklahoma City. The first race was pretty early in the year, so it's been a long time since we were last there. I feel like we made some great gains throughout the season at Front Row Motorsports. We've been able to pick up our mile-and-a-half program quite a bit. We haven't always gotten the results from it, but we've definitely seen the speed from it. And I just feel like Texas Motor Speedway is a place where we can apply some of what we've learned and be better this time around."

Earlier this year he greeted fans at Love's 281 in Fort Worth, Texas, before finishing P28 at the Duck Commander 500.
