We know the most important step in getting ready for CVSA's Roadcheck
The 29th annual Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance Roadcheck event is happening from June 7-9 with a focus this year on tire safety. Love's Solutions expert Eric Roth recently talked to Red Eye Radio host Eric Harley about how Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores is helping drivers prepare for Roadcheck 2016.
International Roadcheck is three days of large truck and bus safety inspections across North America. According to the CVSA website, “certified inspectors conduct compliance, enforcement and educational initiatives targeted at various elements of motor carrier, vehicle and driver safety.”
"We're gearing up and staffing up to make sure that as you guys come in that we have a TirePass location at every single location, and everywhere that we have a tire shop, we have a TirePass," Roth said.
Drivers with My Love Rewards cards will get two free TirePass credits added, which can be used anytime from June until August.
Pulling into the TirePass lane at Love's locations across the country will get your tires measured and inflated. Plus, TirePass technicians will do a visual inspection and produce a written report for you to review.
Safety is the goal, but Roth explained that a service like Love's TirePass is also about helping drivers save on their Cost Per Mile.
"Having the correct inflation, having the correct tread depth is going to wind up saving you money in the long run, and it's something we can do for you in about 10-12 minutes all the way around," he said.
