Soonerthon at OU sets fundraising record 'For The Kids'!
OU's $721,941-plus raised benefits Children's Miracle Network Hospitals
We've got more than 721,000 reasons for you to scream "Boomer Sooner" at the top of your lungs: this year's Soonerthon at the University of Oklahoma raised more than $721,941.00 For The Kids.
According to the OU Daily, this year's Soonerthon set a record for the school, topping the $561,268.15 raised in 2015.
Soonerthon is a part of the Miracle Network Dance Marathon's national program, and the money raised goes to Children's Hospitals. It helps to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
Our 2016 Love's Miracle Child, Samantha Lancaster, was there! She's seen here with Chris and LaDonna from the corporate communications team in the Love's photo booth.
But check out who else showed up! Sooners' quarterback Baker Mayfield stopped by toward the end of the night and took a moment for this photo with Soonerthon dancer Sydnie!
