Love's sponsors TCA Driver of the Year prizes

Danny Smith named Company Driver of the Year; Mark Tricco named Owner-Operator of the Year

Truckload Carriers Association's 78th annual convention was a hit in Las Vegas this week as drivers, industry leaders and companies convened to educate and celebrate the trucking community. Love's Travel Stops was delighted to sponsor prizes for the big event March 8; TCA's Driver of the Year.

Danny Smith, driver for Big G Express in Shelbyville, Tennessee, was named TCA's Company Driver of the Year by Randall Reilly's Truckers News. Smith won $25,000, which was sponsored by Love's and Cummins.

Overdrive presented TCA's Owner-Operator of the Year to Mark Tricco. He was also received $25,000 from Love's and Cummins. Tricco is leased to Bison Transport in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
