Love's, SONIC donate $4,000 as part of Scott City ribbon cutting
Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores celebrated the opening of its new store in Scott City, Kansas, on March 18 with a pair of $1,000 donations to community organizations. SONIC made a $2,000 donation as well!
Love's donated $1,000 to Scott City Elementary School and $1,000 to the Scott County Library during a ribbon cutting ceremony last week. The new Love's location can be found along U.S. Highway 83, and it's the third new Kansas location this year.
Love's opened a travel stop in Holcomb in January and a country store in Garden City in February.
The 24-hour, 4,000-square-foot facility adds approximately 30 jobs to Scott County. Customers can enjoy a SONIC Drive-In, gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift merchandise, name-brand electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of two showers and 53 truck-parking spaces.
Speaking of SONIC, they also made a donation: $2,000 to the Scott City Unified School District.
