Father, son truck drivers talk about their unbreakable bond

Whether they are out on the road with Gemini Motor Transport or riding their motorcycles together, Dennis and Aron Aldridge have a bond that can't be broken. This dynamic father-son duo plays a big role as a part of our Love's family.

Dennis has been a part of the truck driving and fuel hauling business for almost 40 years. His son, Aron, has grown up always knowing he wanted to be just like his dad.

"My dad has always taken care of us," Aron said. "He is the reason I pursued a career in truck driving. He even gave me my first CB handle that he named Pup, while his is named Big Dog."

Working in the same business has given them the opportunity to spend a lot of time together, time they both cherish. But this can sometimes lead to a little competition between father and son. Aron said they always see who is the hardest worker. Even though Dennis has been in the business for a long time now, he can still keep up with the big dogs Aron said.

Dennis and Aron both enjoy working for Gemini because it gives them the opportunity to come home to their families at the end of a long day on the road. Along with Aron, Dennis has five other children and 12 grandchildren.

"One of my favorite parts about being a dad is now getting to spend time with my grandbabies," Dennis said. "Gemini has given me the chance to spend more time with my family than I did previously when I owned my own trucking company, while still being able to support my family."

Recently, Dennis was awarded the Gemini Safe Driver Credit bonus. This is awarded to drivers who've had no accidents, tickets or any violations with Gemini for at least five years.

Thank you Dennis and Aron for your loyalty and dedication. Your hard work definitely doesn't go unnoticed!
