Love’s sponsors Dance Marathon for CMN Hospitals
Prepare your best dance moves because Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is proud to announce we’re partnering with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Dance Marathon program. From the robot to the Q-tip, college students across the southern United States are bringing their go-to dance moves to help raise funds for children’s hospitals.
"We are very excited to partner with Dance Marathon," said Jenny Love Meyer, vice president of communications for Love’s. "This is a great way to extend Love’s charitable efforts and a neat opportunity to help increase their fundraising."
Love’s has pledged contributions to more than 25 Dance Marathon programs. The season kicked off the first week of February with events at Tarleton State University, Auburn University and Texas Tech University.
"Partnering with Dance Marathon only strengthens our relationship with CMN Hospitals,” Love Meyer said. “This is a win for everybody.”
Dance Marathon is a fundraiser organized by students at hundreds of colleges and high schools across the country to benefit kids and families facing pediatric illnesses. Its yearlong fundraising efforts culminate with a 12-40-hour event where students stay on their feet through dancing and games. Dance Marathon has raised more than $106 million since its founding in 1991.
Here at Love’s, we couldn’t be more excited to be part of the Dance Marathon movement. So we rounded up a few members of the unofficial Love’s dance squad to show our support #ForTheKids.
