Hungerford officially welcomes Love's Travel Stops with ribbon cutting

Hungerford, Texas, is home to the newest Love’s Travel Stops location. Hungerford residents welcomed Love’s 617 with a ribbon cutting Oct. 15 in conjunction with the Wharton Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture. Located 60 miles southwest of Houston, the new travel stop offers fuel, great coffee and more to Wharton County residents and travelers along Highway 59.  This marks Love’s 53rd Texas location.

This travel stop features a McDonald’s and Chester’s restaurant. Professional drivers can take advantage of TirePass and our My Love Rewards Program.

With each new location, Love’s immediately gives back to the community by donating to a local nonprofit. Love’s 601 presented a $2,000 donation to Wharton Athletic Booster Club. This organization aims to strengthen instructional programs, improve district facilities and integrate technology to enhance instruction.
