Photos: Gilly's got a brand new car for The Glen

FrontRow Motorsports driver David Gilliland certainly hopes his stay at Watkins Glen is longer than his stay at Sonoma back in June. It's road racing time this week in New York, and Gilly's got a brand new car!

That happened in late June at Sonoma. It happened early, and Gilly finished 43rd. The good news is that Gilly's got that brand new car. Gilly says this race is a lot of fun because it's an even faster road course than Sonoma.

"Watkins Glen has got a lot more speed than Sonoma does, and it's challenging in its own ways. But it's fun, and we're looking forward to it. We lost our primary road course car at Sonoma, so we've been working hard to get another car ready, and it's coming out really good. I'm eager to get our new Love's Travel Stops Ford on track and try it out," Gilliland said.

The FrontRow team is practicing on Friday, so we shot some pics a couple days ahead of the race. The Cheez-It 355 at The Glen commences at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday on the NBC Sports Network.
